The controller on my dodge Ram 2500 is not working, can you give me your opinion on the curt echo wireless controller? Thank you

Hey Gary, the wireless version of the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 is not my favorite option as we have found it just isn't super reliable, but the other versions part # C79DR and # C27JR are actually really solid and they would work well for you.
The part # C79DR installs inline with the 7-way at the rear of your truck and would work great to bypass your OEM controller. This would be the best solution since you want to bypass a controller. The # C27JR is for like a new install and not ideal to bypass a controller.
