Does TRC Small Edge Trim Require Adhesive or Wire to Install
Question:
I have ordered this small rubber trim and it came in today. I was wanting to use this on our new Lakota horse trailer fenders to keep from cutting your hands when washing the trailer. Our old horse trailer had this same kind of trim, but it had some wire in it. My question is will this trim stay on these fenders or do you have the kind of rubber trim with the wire in it?

Hey Bob, the Small Edge Trim part # 362ET4119-25 that you referenced comes ready to install and does not require additional wiring or adhesive. You'd be able to press it onto the fender as-is and it will stay on and work great.

Jameson, I installed this trim on our new horse trailer fenders this past weekend and It was just like you stated that it will fit and form to the fenders with no problem. It actually forms the curves on the fenders better than the old style with the metal inside. This is a great addition to add to your aluminum fenders to keep your hands from getting cut when washing these sharp edged fenders. As always thank you for another great product from etrailer.
