Replacement Leaf Springs For A 2022 Forest River Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQ

Question:

I have a 2022 Forest River Wolf Pup 16fq and the leaf springs look like they are flattening. What are the replacement leaf springs and are the stock springs just cheap or should I upgrade the springs and to what? If so! THANK YOU

Hi David,

In order to find the correct replacement leaf springs for your trailer we'll need to know the eye-to-eye measurement of the spring. You'll want to loosen the lug nuts on one wheel and then jack up that side of the trailer by the frame to remove the wheel and let the axle hang. You'll then measure from the center of one eyelet to the center of the other eyelet to find the length.

The next step is to look at the weight capacity of the axle to determine the correct capacity springs. You can go a little bit higher in capacity if you're overloading the trailer but going too high can give you a bouncy, rough ride quality.
