Question:
I have theses hubs on 2 different trailers. I would like to upgrade them to a standard wheel and tire/ hub set up, and get away from my 14.5 wheels and tires. Can you give me a list of parts for the project?

This will be a pretty simple swap since the # 8-174-5UC3 uses a standard bearing combination. If your axle has a 6,000 lb capacity you can use the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K as a replacement. This has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern. If your capacity is 7,000 lbs you can use the # AKHD-865-7-1-K but you will have to trade out the grease seals for # RG06-090 to match your spindle. This has an 8 on 6-1/2 bolt pattern.
I have attached a link below to our available tires which can be filtered by size and bolt pattern. I'm not sure what size 14.5 tires you have now, or what size you want to move to. Just make sure you have the clearance to get the larger tires before you purchase them. You should have 2" of clearance on the inside and 3" on top of the tire.
