Mounting Hole Spacing for Jensen Indoor RV Speaker

Question:
Can someone confirm the mounting hole spacing? The specs say 2-7/8inch c to c. This doesnt make sense. What is the diagonal hole spacing center to center? Thank you

Expert Reply:
It has been measured and the distance between each mounting hole on the # 1103030 is 2-7/8" on center. There are 6 mounting holes which would make for a total of 17-1/4" of spacing with straight lines between them. The circumference of a circle with a diameter of 6" like the speaker is 18-17/20" so since these sit just inside of the outer edge it all appears to line up.
