Recommended Replacement For A Jensen AWM970 RV Stereo System

Question:

Hello, I need to replace a broken Jensen AWM970 in a 10 year old Keystone. What is the newer Jensen model I can buy new to replace? Thank you!

The Jensen RV Stereo - Double DIN - AUX/USB, Bluetooth, jControl - 12V Item # JWM60A is the recommended replacement for the Jensen AWM970. The wiring harness is a little different so I have a attached the wiring guide for both stereos to help you wire the # JWM60A to your current wiring.

Thanks so much for the recommended replacement and wiring diagrams. Which wires should I use to replace the zone A right and zone A left? For AWM970 it only has (+)(-) for A-right and for A-left (4 wires for 2 speakers). My unit also only has a right and a left speaker for zone A. The JWM60A has rear/front for zone A (8 wires for 4 speakers).

@BenH Since the # JWM60A has a front and rear for Zone A and you don't have the extra speakers you can just splice the wires together by zone, whether they are left or right, and by +/-. For example, for Zone A left speaker you'll splice together the gray and violet # JWM60A wires and connect them to the gray wire from the AWM970.
