Question:

I have a Jayco Trailer with 6inch Furrion Ceiling mounted Speakers which I am looking to upgrade. I measured the Cutout diameter as about 5-7/8. Would these Speakers fit into the existing cutout OK? The Furrion Speakers have 3 mounting holes as well so it would be good if replacements did as well, but I am willing to drill a few holes for screws.I dont want to expand the cutout diameter, however. If there are other recommendations for a better sounding replacement let me know!

Hello Chuck. I do have a good speaker option for you, but the Jensen Indoor RV Speaker # 1103030 is 6" in diameter overall, so this is going to be a bit small to fit correctly in a 5-7/8" cutout. Instead, I recommend the Jensen Marine Speakers # MS6007BR these are 7-1/8" in diameter and are made to fit a 5" cutout, so they will fit nicely in your 5-7/8" cutout. These speakers do use 4 mounting holes, so you will need to drill a few more.
