Can Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution System Be Backed Up With

Question:
I am looking at the Reese RE94 FR weight distributing hitch. Can you back up a trailer using this hitch or do the bars need to be disconnected first? Thanks!

Hey George, with the Reese weight distribution system part # RE94FR you can back up with the spring bars installed only if you are going to be basically backing up in a straight line. If you are going to jackknife the trailer at all though the bars do need to come off.
