Why Is My Hopkins T-Harness Too Short When Installing on a 2018 Ford Edge Titanium
Updated 04/02/2024 | Published 04/01/2024 >
Question:
How long should the wires be for the t connector to the power converter? I’m putting it in my 2018 ford edge titanium, and it’s not long enough to wire tie or mount the converter anywhere. And it’s also making it difficult to run the power wire to the battery

The Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM11140484 should definitely not be too short, so if it's not reaching then you either have the wrong harness, or it's the right harness but it arrived short from the factory which would be a defect.
This harness would install by plugging into your vehicle's existing wiring located behind the driver's side and passenger's side taillights.
