I Have To Assist My Maxxfan 4751KS When Opening And Closing - What Can I Do?

Maxxfan 4751KS I have to assist the fan in opening. It will turn one revolution after I start it by hand. Have to repeat this until it opens. Same with closing. It also makes noise upon completion sometimes.

Hello Janice, it sounds like you are having problems with the lift motor on your Maxxfan 4751KS. It is not unheard of for the motors to go bad, and based on the issues you are describing, I believe your motor needs to be replaced. The correct replacement motor for your fan is the Replacement Lift Motor # MA10-20270
