Can the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703 Be Installed on the Inside of a RV Frame

Question:

Can this be mounted inside the frame and raised up to the top of the frame? Hangs down to far Would be 3 1/2 inch between the bumper and the top of receiver Thanks

The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13703 is a universal install hitch that allows for flexibility in how it gets installed. It would be up to you, or better a qualified fabricator, to determine if you could securely attach the mounting flanges to the frame in the manner that you described.

If you can adequately secure the mounting flanges of this hitch to the inside of your frame you would be fine to do so. I would STRONGLY recommend you have a qualified welder/fabricator do the install just so you have the peace of mind that it is installed correctly.
