What is the hole spacing and the width inside the channel? Specifically would this also fit properly in the channel CTA-196

Yes, the Sleeve-Lock Trailer Coupler # CTA-196 will fit the channel bracket that comes with the Brophy Lunette Ring w/ 3-Position Adjustable Channel Bracket # BR43ZR. The bolt holes match as well when it comes to size and spacing so you'll be good to go!

To answer your questions about the dimensions; the bolt holes are spaced 2" apart on center and the brackets are spaced 2-7/8" apart outside to outside.
