Hi Gary; thanks for the question and I googled the owner's manual to find out, and your 4x4 2017 Ram 1500 is indeed able to be flat towed with all four wheels on the ground per the owners manual. Here are all the parts you'll need to do so:
- Base Plate Kit: Demco Classic Base Plate Kit # DM9517335
- Tow Bar: etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e94ZR
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
