I have a 2017 Rav 4 xle with the factory rails. Will the Malone work on those and hold a 110 pound rooftop tent?

Hey there Shawn, I am happy to report to you that yes, your 2017 Toyota RAV4 with raised side rails is 100 percent compatible with the Malone AirFlow2 roof rack. I am even more happy to tell you that yes, it will hold your 110 lb rooftop tent so you're set. Also, just in the interest of being thorough, the 50 inch Malone bars are available in both Silver and Black in case you liked one color more than the other. Here are the part numbers for both:

DO NOT recommend these bars for a rooftop tent. The point of a rooftop tent is to enclose people and these bars are only rated to support a 110lb tent and 240 lbs of people. Malone hides the static load rating for these bars in their literature. Direct inquiry to Malone resulted in the following from them: "Dynamic Load Capacity - 165lbs Static/Standing Load Capacity - 350lbs ".... we do not typically recommend it for rooftop tents." I was sucked in by the "expert" replies and now am replacing the bars with ones more suitable.
