Question:

I have a 2010 f150. My factory installed hitch is a little rusty. I would like to replace it. What are my options?

The TorkLift SuperHitch Hero Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLF1005H is the only receiver we carry which will fit with the 10,500lb factory receivers on a 2010 Ford F-150. If you have the heavier duty 11,500ln hitch there is not a aftermarket receiver available. The reason for this is the trucks from Ford with a receiver incorporated the receiver into the rear bumper. So the aftermarket hitches for trucks without a factory receiver are going to have a different rear bumper and the mounting points are going to be different due to them not also having the factory receiver. You will need to leave your factory receiver in place with the Torklift and even if you were to remove the factory receiver you would have to get a different bumper to use a different receiver like the Curt # C14002.
