I want flat tow my Jeep Cherokee which weighs 4,000lbs. Would the Blue Ox Alpha 2 tow bar rated for 6,500lbs do the job? Thanks, Alan

Hey Alan, you have a good eye because the answer is 100 percent yes, the 6,500 lb rated Blue Ox Alpha 2 Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7380 is absolutely capable and will do a superb job of towing your 4,000 lb 2018 Jeep Cherokee. But aside from having more than enough capacity to tow your Cherokee, there's a lot to like about the Alpha 2 # BX7380.

It is easy to disconnect with its non-binding tow bars so it's okay if you aren't perfectly level. It also has long 48-3/4" arms which allow your Jeep to track better behind your motorhome than bars with shorter arms, and even comes with safety cables included so you don't have to purchase those separately.
