When it comes to picking out the correct brakes for your boat trailer you're going to want to gear toward anything that has a dacromet coating.
This is going to give your brake superior corrosion resistance which is ideal since you'll be dealing with water often. As far as using rubber lines versus using steel lines, I'd recommend going with rubber lines.
Reason being, rubber lines are going to be much easier to deal with than steel and will not deteriorate nearly as fast as steel would, even with a protective coating.
If you have a regulars single axle small boat trailer, then you can use the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # 18SI-BLKIT for a brake line kit.
