Replacement Brake Assemblies for Trailer with 10-1/4 inch Drums

Looking at replacement drum breaks for my trailer ... I believe I located correct ones from this site just want to be sure ... anyway I can send you pics of what I have to be sure? My breaks measure 10 and 2 1/4 and I have hydrolic break assist...it is a titan dico model 60

Hey Joe, based on what you described yes the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brakes # 18788-87 that you referenced are correct for your trailer. This matches the size and the coupler type that you have as well.

For 10 inch brakes like #AKUBRK-35-D you can use nut and lock washer set (8 each) #BRKH10B. If you want to source stainless or galvanized nuts locally then they should be 7/16"-20.

Hey David, yes you can go with a set of free-backing plates like the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brakes #40716-15 that you referenced. These are correct for a 3,500 lb axle like you have as well. Does your surge actuator not have a reverse lock out?
