Recommended Tire Chains for a 2021 Chevy Suburban w/ 275/60 R-20 Tires

Question:

My 2021 Suburban Z71 owners manual advises not to put chains on the front tires. There is very little clearance between the tire and the arms that support the wheels. Is there room for your s classinch chains to fit on these front tires? Hard to believe that an off road vehicle wouldnt accommodate front chains. My tires are 275/60R20

I have a set that will work, however your 2021 Chevy Suburban's owners manual says not to use tire chains because of clearance issues on the inner part of the tires.

To avoid damaging brake lines and suspension pieces on the inside of your Suburban's wheel wells you'll need to use the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains item # KON24FR. The reason you can get away with using these is because they have a unique design where they mount on your tires using one of the lug nuts for the wheel. This mounting method eliminates the need for a chain on the back side of the tires.

The Konig K-Summit Tire Chains item # KON24FR are sold as a pair. I have linked an installation video below that will show you how to get them set up. I highly recommend practicing installing these before you actually need to use them.
