Is Roadmaster BasePlates Stronger Than Etrailer Baseplates For 2023 Gladiator?

Question:
Im considering this base plate for my 2023 Gladiator. However, I have to be honest and advise Im a little concerned that this base plate is fastened to the Jeep with only four bolts. The Roadmaster uses at least six, four of which pass completely through the frame rails. Is my concern warranted or am I overthinking this? Thank you.

You are not overthinking this at all. The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98948 actually has a built-in crossmember bar that strengthens it, while the Roadmaster one does not, which is why it needs more bolts to connect it to the vehicle's frame. Both baseplates are confirmed to fit your 2023 Gladiator and you won't need to worry about either one not being strong enough.
