Is the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler As Strong As Others

Question:

Hi, Im currently shopping for a base plate and all other tow accessories to install on my 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I noticed that your base plate is the only one that does not require drilling into my frame. Obviously, this is a huge plus for me as I will be doing the install myself. My question is this - does that lack of additional screws and support lower the reliability? Obviously, 4 screws are better than 2, right? Help! Thanks

The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit part # e98948 is an excellent option for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. The attachment methods can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but each will be plenty suitable for flat-towing and I couldn't accurately say one will be stronger than the other as they each go through vigorous testing before they are deemed acceptable. The etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit in particular does indeed not require any drilling.
