Will The Air Lift Cradles Work With 7500XL Springs on a 2021 Ram 2500 With 5" Lift Kit?

Question:

Wanted to verify if the universal cradles part # AL59DQ would work on my 2021 ram 2500 with a 5” lift with the airlift 7500 xl air helper bags.

The Air Lift Air Helper Spring Cradles # AL59DQ are not going to be compatible with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL57589 on your 2021 Ram 2500. This is due to the 7500 springs being larger in diameter than the 5000 springs. So you would need to use the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88289 on your truck. Do note the cradles will add 0.83" to the height of the air springs. You will need to determine how much rear lift was added to your suspension with the 5" lift as often times the rear lift is different than the front to level the truck. We have a 2" # AL52420 or 4" Spacer # AL52440 which when combined with the cradle will account for either a 3" or 5" rear suspension lift.

Hello, do they make a cradle for the 7500xl?

@ShawnM No, I am sorry they do not make cradles for the 7500XL air bags. If you could tell me your year, make, and model of truck and how tall of a lift you have in the rear, I would be happy to make a recommendation for you.

@JerredH Hello, I have a 2025 GMC 2500 AT4 Duramax. No lift, but i get a lot of down word travel on my driveway and it stretches the bags almost like a limiting strap. Yet on the woops or retention pond crossings it smashes the 7500's like bump stops. I tried the 6 inch cradles but they are to small so I'm running the solid lower bracket now. I understand that there is not really a fix besides a bigger floating cradle design. Shawn M

@Shawn That's a wide swing in travel that's for sure. Yeah, I wish I had a solution for you but I do not.
