Question:
I want to use this 7 pin connector with a 12v transfer water pump, how would this get wired?

Expert Reply:
If your transfer pump has a positive and ground wire then you'd just need to make sure that you run the wires to the correct pins on the 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector # A7WCB. The positive wire would from the pump will need to run to the 12v power pin and the ground wire will need to run to the ground pin.
If your pump has a 12v outlet cigarette style plug then you could just use the Pollak 7-Way to 12 Volt Power Outlet Adapter # PK11896.
In either scenario you're going to be limited to the amperage rating of your vehicle's 7-way so you'll want to check how many amps your pump pulls while running to determine if the 7-way is going to be enough to properly power it.
