Recommended Sealant for a Fresh Water Tank That Is Leaking From the Valve

Question:
The drain in one of my fresh water tanks is leaking. The valve is fine, but it is dripping where the fitting threads in after it vibrated loose. The sealer looks like some kind of white grease. What can I use as a sealer?

You can use the Loctite RTV 598 High-Performance Silicone Gasket Maker # LT37467 as a sealant. You'll just want to put this sealant in between the two surfaces.
