Question:

I am looking to purchase a spare leaf spring and wheel bearings for my RV but am unsure of what fits and am looking for guidance. The RV is a 2022 Grand Design Reflection 28BH and it is equipped with Dexter 5200lb axles. I am pasting the axle information from the Grand Design website below for reference. While I cannot determine exactly what leaf springs you need I can tell you your Dexter 5,200lb axles uses the Bearing Kit # BK3-300 for each hub. If you can provide me with the serial number on the axles you have I can contact Dexter to verify the correct size leaf spring.

Currently we only have the 24-7/8" Long Leaf Spring # e76SR which is rated for 5,300lbs which may fit your 2022 Grand Design Reflection 28BH. Do understand you will need to measure your current leaf spring to determine if this will fit. Since you are unable to measure the spring with it fully relaxed without jacking the trailer off the ground you will want to measure along the curve of the leaf spring from the center of the eye bolt to the center of the pin holding the leaves together. If you have 13-1/4" this will be the correct size. While you could use it as a temporary spare you really should always replace all your leaf springs at the same time as they can have different spring rates as they wear over time.
