Dark campsites leave large areas unevenly lit, with shadows hiding obstacles and work surfaces. This telescoping LED lantern lifts a 1,200 lumen light up to 9 feet for wide overhead coverage, so you can see clearly and work across the entire area.
Ground-level lights leave shadows across camp setups and work areas, especially when you are moving around after dark. This light raises the LED head on an adjustable telescoping pole that extends from approximately 3' to 9' tall, pushing up to 1,200 lumens out over an approximately 60' diameter area. You get broad overhead light from one spot, which keeps a larger area usable for setup, repairs, and nighttime tasks, while also keeping faces visible and reducing the glare that makes it hard to relax and talk around camp. An added bonus - the elevated light draws insects away from where you are. If you're in a tight spot, the light head removes from the pole and includes a molded grommet for hanging overhead from hooks or supports. You can position the light above tables, work areas, or in your tent where a tripod won't fit and keep the area fully illuminated.
Flooding every direction is not always useful when part of the area is empty or you need to keep light off nearby campsites. Individual panel control through the button of the lamp lets you select 360 degree, 180 degree, or 90 degree output so you can direct the light where it's needed. You can light one side, two sides, or the full area and keep cooking, unloading, or working with the beam aimed where it counts, without blasting light into other people's space or forcing everyone to deal with harsh glare.
Running extension cords or tying into vehicle wiring slows setup and limits where you can place a light. An integrated rechargeable 10,400 mAH Li-ion battery powers the unit for up to 3.75 hours at maximum brightness or up to 80 hours on the lowest setting, and the light head recharges through a USB-C fast charging port. You can set the light where coverage works best and keep the area lit after dark without dragging power cords through the site, so the whole space stays easy to move around and use as the evening goes on. The internal battery also charges other USB devices, and USB-C input supports connection to external power sources such as solar panels (sold separately), keeping your light and small devices running in off-grid setups.
Portable area lights lose their advantage when the stand, stakes, and cords end up scattered between trips. This setup includes a heavy-duty tripod base with spring-loaded legs, lantern, and a nylon carry bag. Everything packs together for transport and storage, so you can deploy the full light setup and pack it back out without hunting for loose parts.
Area lights used outside have to keep going through dust, spray, and changing weather. IPX6 dust and water resistant construction gives this light the protection it needs for outdoor use in heavy rain. You can keep the light out at camp or on a jobsite and still have overhead illumination ready when the weather turns or the work runs late, without worrying about bringing everything in if conditions change.
Single light setups can fall short when you need longer runtime, automatic activation, or different lighting conditions. Optional accessories (sold separately) include a motion sensor that detects movement and triggers the light automatically, a portable power bank that mounts directly to the unit to extend runtime and provide USB output for device charging, and a set of three colored lens filters designed for use with the LightRanger 1200 only. The snap-on polycarbonate filters include red for preserving night vision, amber for reducing insect attraction, and soft-white for a warmer color tone, giving you more control over how the light performs in different environments.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Devos Light Ranger Telescoping LED Lantern. Folks, as you can see, this is putting off an impressive 1200 lumens of power. It is super bright. You got a simple button here on the front.
You can turn it down to completely off, or you can tap it to do like a half lit up and then fully off after you do another single one. So again, multiple options as far as the brightness and all of that. Let's go ahead and turn the overhead lights back on in the studio here. So again, just a really nice light. As you can see, it has the tripod base on it.
That base can actually widen out more. I wanted to keep it like that just for trying to get it into the shot as much as possible. And I don't even have this fully up all the way. It can go all the way up to nine feet total. So, right now I'm over the rafters here in my little studio and obviously you can't see it.
So, let's get it back down here to a viewable height for you. So again, folks, 1200 lumens, very impressive. You do have a hook on the top here, or a spot for a hook rather. So, you could put a hook in there. The top of the light is detachable off of the holding mount here.
So if I lift this up a little bit, you got a little spring detent here, I can pop that, take the whole light assembly off, and now you can see where the USB-C charger will plug into. So, it does come with a USB-C charger and cable included. And then you can make that mobile if you wanna hang it up, like I was just mentioning. It's gonna deliver up to 3.75 hours of runtime at maximum output, and up to 80 hours of runtime on its lowest output setting. So, a lot of different time variations there, obviously, depending on the brightness that you choose to use it on. But again, you've got a lot of different options for that brightness. So, if you're using it wisely, you're gonna get a lot of time out of it. And then, as I mentioned, you can take this all the way down to its lowest setting and that's what you would wanna put it on if you're putting it away for storage. There we go. And then once you've got it at its lowest peak here, they give you this nice included draw string bag here to put it in. So as you can see, it's the same height. It's gonna go into the bag for storage, and then you can simply pull the drawstring tight and now you've got a portable carrying bag to transport it. Now honestly, the bag's not much as far as quality as far as, you know, keeping it from impacts, but I like it. It's kinda like one of those drawstring bags on the camping chair, about the same quality. So it's not too bad, but just remember the lens and everything on that light is polycarbonate. It's very, very tough and durable. The heat sink on top, it's a pretty robust light. Now this is going to cover up to 60 feet in diameter when it is fully at its highest point. So again, a great option for you if you're around a campsite, maybe a work site at night or early morning hours or something of that nature where you just want a little bit of extra light. And the tripod base is gonna support it on uneven terrain and those kind of things as well. Good quality, excellent light brightness
Easily bright enough to illuminate the campsite or the backyard for a late night game of cornhole. The app makes it easy to adjust the brightness, color, and spread. This is the first Devos light I've purchased and I'm very happy with it.
I recently picked up the Devos LightRanger 4000, and it quickly became one of my favorite camping accessories. On a recent trip, I arrived at my campsite well after sunset and had to set up all of my RV connections in complete darkness. Normally, I'm juggling a flashlight in my mouth or wearing a headlamp while trying to hook everything up, which is never ideal.
The LightRanger 4000 completely changed that experience. I set it up, extended the telescoping pole, and it lit up the entire campsite and hookup area with bright, even light. Instead of focusing a narrow beam wherever I happened to be looking, I could see everything around me at once. It made connecting power, water, and leveling the RV much easier and less frustrating.
The 4,000 lumens provide impressive coverage, and the elevated design does a great job of eliminating shadows around the campsite. The rechargeable battery and quick setup are also huge benefits when you're arriving late and just want to get camp established.
If you regularly arrive at camp after dark, work around your RV at night, or just want to light up a large area without relying on flashlights or headlamps, I highly recommend the Devos LightRanger 4000. It turned what is usually a frustrating part of camping into a simple task.
I took this light camping and was amazed by how powerful it was at 800 lumens. Man o man, it was bright. What I found more amazing was if you shut off part of the four light panels, it really does prevent light from spilling over. Imagine if you are camping in one of those crowded parks and need some light but don't want to disturb your neighbors...this light can do that. I love that it is rechargeable and you can use it as a battery bank too. I took the light off the pole to use it as a lantern but found it too bright in my hammock tent but it would probably be great in a family sized cabin tent. Just hang it from a carabiner or something. Check out my pics!
This is the rockstar of camping lights/work lights! I love this light because it is dimmable, gives you control over how many panels light up, and lets you change colors. This can all be done from the handy app. When you use just one or two sides, the are not illuminated stays dark - there isn't light seeping over. I used it camping with some friends and it was great to have a tall red light when people wanted to walk around but not blind everyone who were enjoying the campfire. Also the fact that it can extend up to 10 feet (which is really tall) and still feel stable was great. I moved it to different parts of the campground throughout the weekend and it never let me down. I'm including a bunch of pictures so you can take a look. Highly recommend for those who need a portable light. Oh...and it is rechargeable and can serve as a battery bank.
