Question:
Hi, the confirmed to fitinch for a 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagen for Item #306-X7284 says excluding turbo diesel. However, the install images show a TDI, as does the install video A looks like the same car. Just want to confirm this will fit my turbo diesel. Has anything changed with this part since it was installed on that TDI?

I checked with our vendors and the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7284 has been confirmed to fit all models of the 2014 VW Jetta SportWagen including the TDI models. Not only that but this is the only hitch that will fit the TDI models. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Jetta with included hardware.
I really like the EcoHitch item # 306-X7284 because the crossbeam installs behind the rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" receiver exposed. This not only helps with ground clearance but it also looks better.
I have linked an installation video below so you can see how to get this hitch set up.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 119250KIT and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
