Question:
I have a sure trac trailer with 7000lb lippert axles. I am looking for drums and new brakes

Expert Reply:
Generally the 7,000 lb Lippert axles are going to use standard sizing. With the brakes being the 12" x 2" with a 5 bolt backing plate, and the hubs being an 8 lug, and using the standard 1.25" Outer and 1.75" Inner bearing. While I do not know exactly what model axle you have, or when it was made, it should use this same sizing. Since trailers are not completely standardized, we do suggest that you measure to confirm fitment prior to ordering. Provided it is standard, you can use the following parts:
Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" # AKEBRK-7-SA (sold as a pair)
Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K (sold individually)
