Where Does Brake Output Circuit on Trailer Wiring Run to On Trailer Magnets

Question:
Hello, I have a question about trailer brakes. I bought a fairly recently built 16ft utility shop trailer from a neighbor down the road. He didnt quite finish it though. He has two 3500lb axles under it with brake drums on all four wheels. I see that each drum has two wires leading off of them and he has a blue wire running from the brake plug on the 7 way, but its not connected to anything. I was wondering what do I need to complete the install and have brakes hooked up. Also the two wires coming off each drum where do they connect too? Thank you in advance.

You are super close to having the brakes functional on your trailer. Run the blue wire from the brake output pin to either one of the wires that are coming off of the brake assemblies and then ground the other and you'll be done. Brake magnet wires are not polarity sensitive either so either can be ground or power.
