Will Curt Hitch for 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Reduce Ground Clearance

Question:

Thank you for making a hitch for the Grand Highlander. Do you know if this hitch will interfere with operations of the kick sensor Limited and Platinum trims? Do you know the approximate clearance from the ground to the bottom of the receiver after installation everything else presumed stock?

The hands free liftgate of your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander will still function with the Curt hitch part # C26VV installed but you would need to kick to either side of the hitch opening. Since the exhaust actually hangs lower than the hitch it actually wouldn't reduce ground clearance.
