Recommended Bike Rack For Carrying E-Bikes With a 2012 Honda Fit and Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

I was wondering if you have any recommendations on a bike rack that is raised (since Honda Fit doesn’t have great clearance), and it is suitable for a Gazelle Arroyo c7 e-bike.

With the class I receiver on your 2012 Honda Fit I recommend using the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202. This rack is rated for safely carrying 2 bikes up to 65lbs each so it is capable of carrying your Gazelle Arroyo C7 as it weighs 50.9lbs. The rack will secure the bike by the seat post since you have fenders both front and rear. A ramp is included to make loading and unloading your bike mush easier. It also has a design which raises the bike above the receiver so you will have less worries about the ground clearance.
