Can Roadmaster Battery Disconnect be Used on Negative Side on 2018 Ford Focus

Can this be used to disconnect the negative terminal? My 2018 Ford Focus says disconnect the negative terminal.

On your 2018 Ford Focus the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 can only be used on the positive terminal of the battery as that is what the polarity of the solenoid is designed for, per Roadmaster.
