Question:
I am looking at the Mount-N-Lock Heavy Hauler 5.3 Bumper and questioning if I cut the existing bumper off with the 90 degree L Bracket, can I just use one of these extensions to get past the trailer. I have a Keystone Montana High Country and they have a surmount tube below the frame. Do I need to cut off all the L bracket to make it smooth with the frame or can I use washers to make up the difference of the L Bracket thickness?

The Mount-N-Lock bumper extension part # MO24VR was designed for situations like yours. You can cut off your bumper and use these to attach to the frame to extend out far enough to install the Mount-n-Lock Heavy-Haul'r Replacement RV Bumper # MNT63VR. While I am not totally sure what you mean by surmount tube on the frame you would want to cut everything off smooth so that the extension bracket can attach properly.
