Recommended Hitch, Wiring, and Brake Controller for 2024 Buick Enclave

We have everything you need to get your 2024 Buick Enclave set up for towing. Starting with a hitch I recommend the etrailer # e56YR. This is a custom-fit class 3 hitch with a 2" receiver and a 5,000 lb towing capacity. It also features a matte black powder coat finish for an OEM look that helps hide dirt and scratches.

For wiring, the most reliable option is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118761. This plugs into the connection point in your rear cargo area. Once installed, you will have a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. The next thing you will need to do is install the # ETBC7. This comes with an adapter, wiring, and everything else required to upgrade your connection to a 7-way.

You will also need a brake controller to send power to your brakes. I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR. The main unit installs behind the dash with only the control knob visible in the cab of your vehicle. This gives it a nice clean look that won't take up space. The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override. The # RED69FR will also be required for installation.

To complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
