It sounds like the motor is not engaging the gears and/or screw inside the leg on your landing gear. There is a screw and fixed nut inside most jacks. A handle or motor turns the gears that turn the screw to raise or lower the jack leg. There could be a roll pin in the shaft of the motor that engages the gears that is missing but you would have to take apart the jack to find it.
The good news is both the gearbox, # LG-179015, and motor, # LG-142178, are available. We also have a repair kit, # LG-146059, for the lead jack leg. It is likely that you just need the repair kit but you will want to take a look inside the jack to determine if any of the gear parts are missing or broken.
The worst case scenario is that the nut inside broke free and is just spinning inside the jack leg. If that is the case you would need to replace the leg using # LG-179013.
