Question:
What type of sealer do you use for the installation of oil bath hubs? I bought a Kodiak XL kit and didn’t get the sealer it describes in the instructions. Thanks for your help.

The Kodiak XL ProLube Kit # XLPROLUBE1980KIT no longer requires the sealant like you saw in the instructions. If you prefer to use some the Loctite # LT37464 is all you will need as the manufacturers still recommends using some sealant to reduce the likely hood of issues down the road. This helps to prevent oil leakage as the different materials expand and contract due to heat.
