Can Replacement 17-rpm Lift Motor for Fan-Tastic Vent Be Manually Operated

Question:

I installed fvk6010-81 replacement lift motor for Fantastic Fan and all seems to be working fine but I notice the new unit different two wing handle vs the x-shape handle on the old unit. The decal “push auto/pull manual” is also missing. Is there a redesign of the unit function for manual operation that does not require the handle to be pulled down?

The # FVK6010-81 does have a different design. You can still turn the knob for manual operation but you do not have to do the push and pull like the original for it to work.
