Replacing A Seal Number 10-47 On A 2000 National RV Tropical

I just pulled a seal from my 2000 national rv tropical tag axle it’s stamped 10-47. Is there a suitable replacement as I don’t seem to be able to find it on your site. Thank you.

We do have a replacement for your 10-47 seal. The seal you are looking for is the # 9103309. This is the Dexter seal number 010-047-00 which we have confirmed to be identical.

@Kyle We do have a hub that works with the # 9103309 seal (2.25" ID 3.376" OD) mentioned above. Take a look at the following: Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K - 7K Axles - 12" - 8 on 6.5 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K.

@JesseM the drum im looking for is 12.25 x 4 and it is a 6 bolt drum 5 1/2 bolt centers with center bore of 4 1/2 any ideas if you have one

@KyleA We don't have anything quite like that. We have a 6 on 5-1/2" drum part # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K that can use the # 9103309 seal but it is a 12-15/16" diameter x 2-3/8" wide drum. We do not have anything 12.25" x 4".

The correct replacement for the Oil Seal 225255UC is the Oil Seal part #9103309. These both have a 2.24/2.25" inner diameter and 3.37" outer diameter. They are also designed for use with oil bath hubs.

Dexter 7,000 lb axle hubs come with either 1/2 inch wheel studs like the part #RG03-080 that you referenced or 9/16 inch diameter studs like the #7-257. You'd need to measure what you have to know for certain.
