Question:
Im looking to purchase a trailer hitch and based on the resources you have available installation videos, quality photos of actual hitches, encyclopedia like explanations of systems Ive decided to purchase from you. My only problem now...I dont know which hitch to purchase. I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS with a 3.5L engine. Its listed max towing weight is 2800 lbs tongue weight 280. When I look at the hitches that come up for that vehicle, Im not sure what the real difference is. They can all tow MORE then the max my car can tow. What is the benefit to a Draw-tite 41543 over a Hidden-Hitch 87419? Are the two hitches not suited to the use of a weight distribution system? I appreciate your speedy reply so I can get my order in this week and hopefully put the hitch on before the snow flies!

The Draw-Tite, # 41543 is a great fit for your 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. I've attached an installation video for you.
Although the hitch is rated above and beyond the stated towing capacity of your vehicle, you will still be limited to the capacity of the lowest rated component, which would be the vehicle in this case.
The hitch is not designed for or capable of being used with a weight distribution system, due to the relatively low towing capacity of the Santa Fe.
You might also need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer Wiring Harness with 4-pole Connector, # 118473
Ball Mount, # C45010
1-7/8 Inch Trailer Ball, # 19260
2 Inch Trailer Ball, # 19247
Retaining Pin and Clip, # PC3
Locking Hitch Pin, # e98882
