Reese Fifth Wheel Installation Kit Recommendation 2005 Dodge Diesel 2500 Short Bed

Question:

Will this kit fit the 2005 dodge 2500 Diesel 2500 , or can you recommend a kit for my truck , rail kit , above bed . I all ready own a valley 15,000 ball plate from another truck .

The Reese Semi-Custom Base Rail kit part # RP30035-023 that you referenced is a fit for your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500, but since this is a semi-custom kit I think you would be better off getting a fully custom install kit since it would minimize drilling and would install in about half the time.

For that I would recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rail kit part # RP50140-58. I attached an install video for this kit for you to check out also.

Your Valley hitch should fit in these rails without a problem also because these are industry standard rails.
