For your 2005 Ram 2500, I recommend the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs, # BWGNRK1313. This is a custom fit for your truck that will give you a gooseneck hitch that will keep your truck bed clean when not in use.
If you want 5th wheel rails, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50140-58. This is a custom fit system for your truck. If you want a gooseneck adapter compatible with these rails, I recommend the Curt 25K Gooseneck Plate for Fifth Wheel Rails item # 16055. This will give you a gooseneck ball on top of 5th wheel rails.
The picture you sent didn't show me any 5th wheel rails that are factory or aftermarket. I am not aware of any 5th wheel rails that run front to back as you mentioned. It looks like this is a custom design that I wouldn't recommend.
