Will Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch 13703 Fit a 2006 Dutchman 5th Wheel Trailer with I-Beam Frame

Question:

Will this hitch fit on a 2006 Dutchman with I Beams for the frame. But the Cosmetic Bumber is welded on to tubes that are welded on the the I beams. 2006 25ft with garage. The outside on the I beams are 71 1/2 Inches. It looks the this hitch will bolt to the inside on the I beams. Which would allow the brackes to rest on the lip on the I beam. Is that right?

The Curt trailer hitch # 13703 will fit an I-beam frame up to 72 inches wide (measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail. But you will not want to bolt (or weld) it to anything that is already bolted or welded to the frame. It needs to be attached directly to the frame.

If you decide to have the hitch welded on then any welding should be performed by a qualified professional welder. I have included links to the installation instructions and a video showing an installation for you.
