Question:
I have the BandW slider hitch and I am experiencing some horrible scraping, scratching, screeching sound when I slide the hitch. This happens when both loaded and unloaded. If the manuf does not require lubricant, Is there something wrong with it or missing a bushing or something?

I would try adding some white lithium grease like the part # L11354 to the rollers to see if that helps. There are also adjustments that you can make to the rollers of the slider. In the attached instructions you can see how to adjust.
