Jeff: Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the replacement roller wheel for the Curt R-Series fifth-wheel hitch for a quantity of one.Now, this will replace the one roller wheel for your Curt R-Series fifth-wheel slider hitch. This part will allow the slider to move slowly forward and rearward on the hitch base. And it does include the roller wheel and the installation bolt that's used to install it to the hitch base. But that should do it for the review on the replacement roller wheel for the Curt R-Series fifth-wheel hitch.

Part came as described. Installed just fine. Broken bolt.
A left hand twist cobalt drill bit will be needed

Its easy to say great company when they employ great talent.
I ordered my parts, paid, delivery was scheduled. Only place that I could get them. Backstory: need parts ASAP because rv sites in LA due to fires and other reasons are hard to come by and very expensive with few nights availability. Parts needed are detrimental to moving rig. This company responds quickly with, "we are sorry but parts ordered are not available for multiple weeks latter than ordered date". Canceled order,refunded instantly. Great company!
Then: Courtney at etrailer.com reaches back, informs me of another option, has broke the previous order down to the smaller components and was able to source them out and reorder, arrived before the scheduled delivery. Courtney is awesome, makes etrailer.com a better company, and kudos to a business that empowers their employees to go the extra steps.

The original shoulder bolt broke while coming home from camping, we got home OK, but I had only 2 weeks to fix it before our next trip. The fast delivery and quality of the product allowed me plenty of time to repair and prepare for the next adventure! Thank you etrailer!

I appreciate eTrailer helping with my problem. I had purchased a new Curt 5th wheel hitch for my 2018 GMC August 2021. One of the roller wheels and shoulder bolts came apart. Initially I found and replaced the parts(they were caught up in the hitch). However when it came apart again I lost the bolt. Now to try find replacements was impossible. CURT warehouse in Canada were NO help. So I went online and found etrailer.com.. I have received the parts and will use LOCTITE to secure the bolt in the wheel. Thank you.

- How To Remove Sheared Bolt On Curt A16 SliderHey Ron, sorry to hear that happened. Broken bolts are always a pain. I would first try and extractor bit to see if you can get the sheared portion out without affecting the threading. If that doesn't work you will have to drill out the bolt. You might be able to use a small bit to drill out the center then pull the rest out. Just be careful not to damage the threading on the hitch because we would not want you to have to re-tap anything.

In ISO metric fastener standards, when the pitch is omitted on an M8 bolt, that indicates the standard coarse pitch, which is 1.25 mm. What model hitch are you trying to repair?
