The Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH83JV is a great bike rack but since it secures bikes by their wheels it will damage the front fender on your Trek Allant+ 7S Stagger so we need an alternative option.
If you want to stick with a Thule rack then the Thule Epos # TH99XE is my recommendation because of the adjustability in how it can secure the bikes by the frame. The nice thing about this rack is having the ability to add the License Plate and Tail Light Kit # TH79XE as well as the Long Ramp # TH43VA to make loading your bike(s) easier.
For a cost-effective alternative we have the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR which is still a solid choice - it just doesn't have all of the convenient features the Epos has.
