What Furrion AC Unit Will Replace A Dometic AC 541816A701CO

I’m trying to replace a dometic ac 541816A701CO. There is no distribution box on the inside. How do I mount the ac if I can’t tighten it from there inside of the rv? Which Furrion AC do you recommend? I recently installed a Furrion when replacing my second ac but it has an air distribution box. The rv is set up with CCC thermostat with 2 zones. Also, is this dometic unit a heat pump? I don’t think it is but I’m not sure. Thank you in advance for your help because I can’t find this info myself.

Hello Tina. To replace your Dometic AC 541816A701CO I recommend the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV. This includes the rooftop unit, and conversion kit that makes it compatible with your Current Dometic system. This unit will be compatible with both ductless and ducted systems like you have in your 5th wheel.
This Furrion unit does not include a heat pump, but they are available as an add-on with part # FR35SR.

Hey Tina, how did the swap to the Furrion Chill HE unit go on your 5th wheel? I’m curious if the conversion kit made the mounting process easier without the inside distribution box. Your update could make it easier for others replacing a Dometic setup like yours.
