Question:
I have a 2019 Karavan trailer for a 2019 Boston Whaler 17 Montauk. Do you have any information on the wheel bearing grease hub? It is not Buddy Bearing brand, but does have an easy lube fitting. I was lubing yesterday and found some water in this housing. The general information that came with the boat/trailer does not give any information about this component. Im preparing for a long trip and dont want any problems trailering. Thanks

Your Karavan Trailer most likely uses the Grease Caps # RG04-040 which have a removable Plug # DC-RP to access the grease zerk for adding grease. If you have something different please send me pictures so I can verify what is being used.
A trailer hub will typically have 2 places where water can get inside the hub, the grease cap or the grease seal on the back of the hub. Since you mentioned already having water inside the cap I recommend pulling the hub apart to check the internal components. Depending on how much and how long water was inside the hub you may need to replace the bearings and seals or possibly the hub itself. Once you have the hub apart you will be able to find the part numbers for your bearings and seals to verify what all needs replaced if any parts are damaged.
