Will the etrailer.com Hitch Receiver Lock Fit the Factory Trailer Hitch on a 2005 Ford Excursion

have ford excursion 2005, with factory 2inch receiver, will it fit? thanks

You should have no problem using our etrailer.com Hitch Receiver Lock, # e98882, on the factory hitch of your 2005 Ford Excursion. We have not tested this hitch lock with the factory hitch on an Excursion, but we have not received any complaints with fit issues on Ford vehicles and we have even had some customers comment that it works great on their Ford trucks.

To be absolutely certain that this lock will fit with your trailer hitch, you can measure the outside width of your trailer hitch receivers, at the hitch pin hole, not at the face of the receiver (see photo). If that measurement is 2-9/16 inches or less, then this hitch pin will work for you.
