Question:
Can you tell me if the F2250 will fit my 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500hd or is the correct one is the F2190? I have looked at both product descriptions and cant seem to see a difference between the two.

Expert Reply:
The correct Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring kit for your 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500HD is part # F2190. The difference between this kit and Ride-Rite kit # F2250 are the mounting brackets. The Ride-Rite kit # F2250 was designed to fit the frames of the 2500 and 3500 models of the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra.
The brackets included with Ride-Ride kit # F2190 were designed to fit the frame, axle and suspension components of your 1500HD. You can also see the difference between these two kits by checking out the installation instructions I have attached.
