Question:
We have a 2000, Coachman travel trailer which is 30foot long and uses BAL scissor jacks. Just want to make sure that the tjschd-24-4 will be sufficient to handle a trailer of this size.

Expert Reply:
Scissor stabilizers don't actually handle weight in the same way that a leveling jack would so as long as you're not trying to lift/level the trailer using the jacks the Scissor Stabilizer Jacks w/ Handle # TJSCHD-24-4 would be more than enough. I recommend doublechecking the height from the frame to the ground when level to ensure that these specific jacks extend far enough to touch the ground. If not, you can also pick up some stabilizer blocks # UF48-979051 as well to make up the difference.
